Meet the Team

Maria Zabala

Owner & Principal Planner, WPIC Certified

From a young age, I have always had the passion for Décor and Planning Events. In 2002, I decided to pursue, both Décor & Wedding Planning. I juggled both until 2008, before deciding I had to focus on my #1 Love, Event & Wedding Planning. Since then, I’ve never looked back.

I am a passionate, detailed and organized Event & Wedding Planner. I love everything that entails to Events & Weddings; from choosing the right venue, to designing, creating itineraries, and ensuring we deliver a seamless event. I am obsessed with “Designing Your Dreams and Making them a Reality”, for all our clients. I get satisfaction, knowing that my team have gone over, and beyond, to “WOW” our clients. Seeing the smiles and happiness from our clients, is all I need.

In my free time, I love to go camping & fishing with my Husband, spending time with my Family & Friends, and listening to the most recent Latin Music.

Jacqueline Cummings

Lead Planner, WPIC Certified

I have become a valued member of the team since 2009. When I first joined this fabulous team, I worked as an Event/Wedding Planning Assistant, and quickly developed a love for Event and Wedding planning.   

Creating a unique event and witnessing it all come together is so fulfilling. Seeing our clients and their guests happy with the overall outcome is what is most rewarding. It is through my experience where I developed a strong love for combining my creativity and organizational skills to helping others visions become reality. 

I can be characterized as a personable, kind, warm, organized, detail oriented, flexible, hardworking, knowledgeable, calm, confident, has a can-do-attitude, stylish and funny individual.  I exhibit a strong passion and love for the gym and welcome tough endurance challenges that tests both my physical and mental limits. When I am not at the gym, and am not working on events and weddings, I enjoy spending time with my husband Patrick, my daughter Malia, and son Colton. 

We all strive to have a problem free event while still enjoying every second of it. At Exquisite Affare we can achieve that for you and more.

Kerri Villar

Lead Planner, WPIC Certified

A hopeless romantic who is a lover of detail, design and all things pretty. As one of Exquisite Affare’s Event & Wedding planners, I enjoy taking clients’ ideas and transforming them into their happily ever after.

What I put first is, the thought and time dedicated to your special day. I ensure that my duties of helping you choose what venue, food menu, and décor that fits you best is in good hands. My solid background and passion for fashion is perfect for creating timeless dream weddings that will forever be in style.

From organizing guest lists to leaving your guests wowed on your special day, I can make the most stressful moments serene and a breeze. I am honoured to be a part of your wedding day and promise 100% satisfaction.
